Lazy girl rosé (Rose cranberry peach mocktail)
We first made this mocktail in LA last year in May, 2023. It was such a big hit that everyone at the event asked me for the recipe on how to make it. We just made this again for our open studio & happy flower event last week in our studio in NYC and again it was a crowd pleaser. This mocktail is not only beautiful to look at but also a wonderful non-alcoholic option that captures the essence of a blooming garden in a glass. It's rosy, it's peachy, it's fragrant, it's refreshing and it's hydrating!
This recipe is soooo easy to make this time we give it a name "Lazy girl rosé mocktail" paying homage to the simpleness of this refresher.
This recipe makes 10 servings. Adjust the amount of flowers and infusion depending on how many people you're serving.
Ingredients:
6 x Shangrila Rose
10 x rosebuds as additional infusion and garnish
1 x bottle of ocean spray white cranberry peach juice
1 x hot water
Lots of ice or flower ice balls
Steps:
1. Brew the Rose Tea: brew all 6 shangri la Rose flowers in a bowl with boiling water (15oz hot water per flower). Let it steep for 5-7 minutes to extract the floral flavors, then allow it to cool completely.
2. Add in equal amount of cranberry peach juice. (i.e. if you have 3 cups of rose infusion add 3 cups of cranberry peach juice).
3. Add lots of ice, stir and mix well (optional: we made rosebud ice balls).
4. Add rosebuds as garnish
6. Serve and enjoy!
