Marketing Intern (6-Month Role)

About Us
The Qi is a flower wellness brand based in NYC, specializing in whole flower teas and rituals that bring beauty, healing, and connection into daily life. We host weekly tasting events and community experiences at our Flatiron studio. Come join us to learn, grow, and bloom together. 

The Role
We’re looking for a creative, community-driven Marketing Intern to join our team for 6 months. This role is perfect for someone who loves wellness, tea, and building meaningful connections both online and in person. Starting Sep 6th, 2025.

Key Responsibilities

  • Community Building: Help nurture and engage our growing community of tea lovers, wellness seekers, and creatives.

  • Studio Hosting: Own our Studio Saturdays from 12:30 PM – 6:30 PM (open hours 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM) — setting up, welcoming guests, serving tastings, helping check out customers with purchases, creating a memorable customer experience, and encouraging 5-star Google reviews.

  • Content Support: Assist in creating engaging social media content by filming/capturing Studio Saturdays.

  • Event Support: Help plan, reach out, and execute special studio events, collaborations, and influencer tastings.

  • Marketing Projects: Support campaigns and community outreach as needed.

Who You Are

  • Passionate about wellness, tea, and community building

  • Warm, welcoming, and comfortable hosting in-person experiences

  • Strong communicator (in person + online)

  • Organized, reliable, and proactive — able to take initiative/problem solver 

  • Creative eye for content and storytelling

  • Bonus: Experience with social media, events, or hospitality

Details

  • Commitment: 6 months

  • Hours: Saturdays (required, 11:00 AM – 6:30 PM) 

  • Compensation: Paid internship $600/month with the opportunity for promotion and a raise after 3 months. Plus, earn 5% commission on Studio Saturday sales exceeding $500.
